My favourite bar

As an ultra runner, making sure I take in enough quality nutrition on my long runs is always something that is paramount to not only my training but also my success at races.  What I like so much about XactNutrition FRUIT2 bars is that they are made of clean, ‘real’ ingredients.  For me, one of the benefits of the FRUIT3 bars is that I can nibble away on them during my run without having to take on the entire bar in one go.  This allows me to maintain a more even and sustained caloric intake during my endurance effort.  After my long runs, I eat a ProKrunch bar to get that extra hit of protein needed to recover from my run and jumpstart muscle tissue repair.
