Trail running is a way for me to get closer to and commune with nature. I have always enjoyed outdoor sports and pushing my limits. To prepare for the trail race season I ski, and do yoga, 12 months a year. I started trail running after a trip to Argentina to attempt the ascent of Aconcagua in 2008.

I’m a fan of FRUIT2 energy bars and PROKRUNCH recovery bars, also very effective. PROKRUNCH is light and easy to carry, it’s got enough calories that I can eat one every couple of hours during a long run, or just just before a yoga class.
