How many gels will it take for you to perform your best?
Eating simple carbs such as gels or chews will help you push harder for longer during your race (Check out the XACT NUTRITION Race day fuel guide for more info). Some athletes can eat as much as 400 calories per hour (1 gel every 15 minutes!). For most of us 30-45 minutes is the norm.
